About WoodlandsTV

WoodlandsTV was launched in Spring 2008 with the aim of getting people into woodlands and showing them what they can do when they get there. We produce our own short films and bring together the best of what others have created.

The team includes: BRIT School performing arts student Joe Pitura-Riley who runs Dulwich Studios; David Riley, a professional voice-over artist; Jon Snape and Angus Hanton of Woodlands.co.uk; and web-developers Dave Evans and Mike Thompson.

For those interested, we use a Sony HVR-V1E camera and Rode NTG1 microphone for filming, Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, and the Kohana framework (plus a dash of the superb Mootools) to power the website.

We try to cover what people are interested in and to make sure we understand ourselves what is being done and why. If you have ideas for topics you would like covered, or if you would like to be filmed “doing your thing” in the woods please email us at info@woodlandstv.co.uk and we'll see if we can arrange it.

Please keep the comments coming and we hope you enjoy what we've made!
